I want, I want, I need!

These past few days I've been wanting to write blogs and reviews about anime, games, and books I've recently watched, played, or read. I want to do all of that, I want to be able to write about it all. But I need sleep, I've been working 12 hr days, and spending the remaining 12 hrs with my family, or to sleep. So I've recently read The Birth of a Killer (The Saga of Larten Crepsley), whether or not I will review it, is left to my schedule. I've recently watched Season 1 of The World God Only Knows, personally I might review it after watching season 2. I've also watched Dead Leaves and a few Pokemon tv specials and OVA's personally I don't think I'll review those, not because they weren't good, but simply because I watched them for my inner child (if you understand where I'm coming from?).

I'll leave you here with a whole bunches of oats of maybes.

Anime alphabet soup!

I've started watching dubbed anime alphabetically on Justdubs I started yesterday. You might ask yourself why I would do such a thing, it simple I'm lazy. Okay the actual reason is because on my AP account I have a grand total of 101 want to watch, and 63 stalled. I've just finished 5 centimeters per second, next is 801 T.T.S. Airbats. I'm not going to lie, this is probably not going to last very long.

I just wanted to write a little bit about what I've watched since yesterday. Since I've already watched all the .hack//'s with the exception of .hack//Quantum Specials, and .hack//The Movie: Sekai no Mukou ni, I've started my endeavor with 009-1.

I have to admit I was first hesitant to watch this anime, not because of the genre, but because of the cover. 009-1 has a somewhat plain cover that has a character that reminds me of Robotech. Because of these factors I was ignorant to the fact that it was actually made in 2006, I just assumed it was an old anime someone posted.






3x3 Eyes

A short-ish anime containing 7 episodes in total, the reason that I am saying short-ish is due to the fact of the length of the episodes. The first 4 episodes are approximately 30 minutes in length, while the last 3 are 50 minutes each. 3x3 eyes was actually made in 1991, and the second part (3 last eps) in 1994. But don't let that scare you off it's an amazing anime.

So this is what I've been up to.

Shiki

This story starts off in Sotoba village, where the people are old fashion, and cut off from the outside world. With a population of 1 300, this village is run by the two heads of the town the town junior monk Seishin and the village doctor Toshio. After the Kirishiki's western style mansion was built on the outskirts of the village, the villagers started dying left and right. Was this a start of an epidemic brought to Sotoba by the Kirishiki's or was it something more?


There are quiet a number of characters who's stories are told in this anime, we see the struggle, the joys, the tragedies that different characters and group of characters go through.

Megumi; the odd out of place girl who dreams to one day move to the city, and live a "normal life". She has an unhealthy obsession with Natsuno.





Natsuno; the reserved and quiet cold high school student from the city, who moved to Sotoba with his parents. His hopes are to one day move back to the city and escape the small village life. Even though he wasn't looking for a friend one found him, Tohru.








Tohru; an all around good guy who could have his pick of the crop, but decided to befriend Natsuno. 






Seishin; the town junior monk and childhood friend to Toshio and Mikiyasu. He believed that you could always choose your own path in life, that nothing was predetermined. Eventually he became a monk, even though he truly wished otherwise.





Toshio; the current town doctor of Sotoba, running the clinic which was passed down from generation to generation. In charge of all the lives in the village, the only thing that could possibly disgrace his family's name would be villagers deaths. He takes it as his personal duty to make sure that the villagers are safe.


I've got to admit that there are many more characters in the anime. I'd love to write about the main Shiki characters, but I'm afraid that I might spoil some of the story.

This is honestly one of the best anime's I've seen in quiet some time. It has all items to make it an unforgettable anime, characters you can relate to (I'm not saying all but you'll find one), suspense, conflict, great animation, and human nature. I honestly cried near the end, feeling both sympathy and loss for both the humans and the shiki. This is a great example of human nature at its worse. I rate this anime 5 stockings out of 5.

DAY OFF TOMORROW!?

Organized my son's toy 

My first day off tomorrow in two weeks, late shifts till 11pm  then going back to work at 11am. I've got to admit I'm not in the "cheeriest" of moods, just plain exhausted. And so let it be told,  that games began. I start my night by organizing my lil man's toys and cleaning the house a little bit. 
As you can imagine he's a huge spongebob fan.

Drink of the night

My choice of late night beverage tonight is none other then good ol' hot chocolate. But I have to be specific President Choice Extra rich with Marshmallow. I am not a hot chocolate lover, so the fact that I actually give praise for this brand is big. Having one hot mug, while bundled up in blankets will give you all the joy and comfort you need for a good nights rest.

Cromartie High School

CROMARTIE HIGH SCHOOL! Is today anime choice, the nutty delinquent high school where a hearty bunch of mixed characters star in, is nothing short of funny. With a grand total of 26 episode 11 minutes long each, Cromartie High School is often full of nonsense and often have no point in the end. The cast consist of an Ape, Freddie Mercury, Mechazawa (a robot) and many more. All I have to say is if you need a good background anime this is your one stop. 

Slime

Minecraft hunting, I was actually exploring a cave and killing skeletons have I mentioned how much I hate skeletons. Anywho I came upon a slime, I took a screen cap of it. Although it's not a good one, I'm still a happy little girl.

Neopets (re-)Noobed

I've recently re-started playing neopets, I decided to start from scratch. The sole reason for me to start playing this game again is for my best friend. Her account is 43 weeks old, I had shown her my 8yr accounts.  Although it's been quite some time that I've been out of "the game" (made you lose), so why not start a new account.

Mairla's been going through some hard times, so I was wondering how to cheer her up. After work I had gotten her an ice cap from Timmies, but "what could I do on neopets?" I asked myself. Then it came to me "JELLIES!" Mairla hasn't started a gallery because she's waiting to collect enough jelly to make a rainbow. So I thought I'd send some her way.

 While I'm waiting for the wheel of Monotony to stop (currently been 2hrs and 1/2) I'm going to make myself a hot cup of genmaicha tea, I actually named my neopet after the tea. I'll probably make my son a swampwater tea. I've got to admit my opinion of neopets have changed but I'll keep that for another blog.

A wasted night mining!

Considering I don't work till 4:30 tomorrow evening I figured why not stay up late, but a last minute decision done by my best friend has caused a little detour. Instead of sleeping in, she and I will wake up early to go out of town and go shopping not that I'm complaining, come back before 4:00, therefor still leaving me some time before work. As I've stated before I was not sure what to do tonight, I'll show you what it turned to. 

A cup of Blueberry Jam tea from Davidstea a gift from my best friend who gave me 50g's worth. A lemon wedge adds the perfect balance of flavour, which means no sugar required for this black tea. I haven't tried to chill this tea, so I'm not sure which one I'd prefer. 

For a good 4 hours strait I've been playing minecraft, I destroyed a skeleton monster spawner, received two saddles and a few more goodies. I dug this pit to your right, it's in an up view, dug by shovel and pickax, no tnt, and it wasn't previously a dungeon or a cave. Minecraft can both be the most fun game, and most terrifying game at times, I know it's hard to believe but even blocks can be scary. 

Tuesdays are usually my days off that's why I'm staying up late, the only problem now is the fact that one of my co-workers quit so I have to add a few shifts to my schedule. Which just means more money to spend, or save?

Monday Night Madness!!!

I am currently trying to decide my plans for tonight, Minecraft, reading, neopets, cleaning, playing my ps3, going to the restaurant. They all seem like great ideas it's just to pick one, the fact that my house is in need of a dire clean up should give me a hint, but lately I've been playing Minecraft.

Yes the game that is plaguing the entire world, where the world is made out of cubes and cube-like shapes. If you haven't heard anything about it wiki it! I'll post a decision later on if I have the time.

right now my little town in northern Ontario is having a heat wave. I was going to review an awesome manga I finished reading a few days ago called High School Debut you should take the time to read it. In all honesty the heat is brutally dry, so I figured how about I write about a good tea to drink to cool you down.

The drink is a green murky colour, the smell is a little strong, but the drink is quite refreshing. So my family and I all sit down for a cool drink and quench our thirst. I'm not writing measurements, because it's good to experiment.  I hope you guys try this Swampwater Ice Tea too, if you guys have any other cool ideas to beat the heat just post it on my blog.

Friday Night Gaming

I recently purchased two PS3 games and one pre-order which I have yet to play or try any of them. The new additions are Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland, Tales of Graces f, and Lollipop Chainsaw (pre-order gamestop). I've got to admit I didn't pay attention to the price of these games until I recently got home, all three of them were near the fifty dollar margin. Everyone's aloud their outrageous expenses Whether or not I will enjoy these tittles we will soon find out. Until then keep on gaming my Poofs <3.

Re-starting

I've found it a little difficult to balance multiple blogs with my schedule lately, so I've decided to start a new. This blog will be a mix of all my previous blogs, plus a few new subjects. Considering I've got to get ready for work, I won't get officially started until later tonight or tomorrow.
